Michael Pesendorfer

Home » People » Michael Pesendorfer

Michael Pesendorfer is a career officer, lawyer and member of the Legal Service of the Austrian Armed Forces. He graduated from the “Paris Lodron” University in Salzburg and has served in several EU and NATO Peace Support Operations. For more than 2 years he worked as a legal advisor in the Military Staff of the European Union in Brussels. He is lecturer on International Humanitarian Law with a particular focus on military protection of cultural property in situations of armed conflict. Michael Pesendorfer is member to the Austrian Society for Protection of Cultural Property and the International Military Cultural Resources Working Group.
